The product
DS Core brings diagnostics, treatment planning, production and collaboration into one place. X-rays, intraoral scans and documents live in a shared online library, open in the browser and can be shared with partners. Recipients don't need a subscription.
It is an open platform: it connects Dentsply Sirona devices such as Primescan and Sidexis, and accepts data from third-party scanners.
Who it serves
Core workflows
- Online media library and sharingCentral storage for 2D images, 3D X-rays and scans, uploads via QR code, viewers in the browser.

The design challenge
One platform, many roles and many screens: dentists, assistants and lab technicians move between workstations, treatment units and tablets, with 2D images, 3D scans and AI-assisted views side by side. Clinical precision and clear patient communication have to work in the same interface.
